Ghera is a tiny little village at the end of the proper road coming from Dharamshala or Chari. The HRTC buses come from dharamshala till Ghera. Located on the banks of Gaj River you get beautiful views of the forests and high Dhauladhar mountains. A smaller road goes from Ghera till Kareri Village. Ghera has a post office, few grocery stores, few restaurants, and a tailor shop plus a medical dispensary.
