This place is just memories! Everytime you are here it's just a time worth remembering!
Is a place where foreigners usually visits, because of the coolest wind and reddish sunlight at the Sun set. The another attraction is the seating arrangements by the BMC for the public. It's very cool to sit over the neat and tidy marble and granite tiles near the sea shore and enjoy the waving sea. While sitting there sometime I thinks about the God who created this universe with such tremendous beauty with its diversity. Every place looks precious on the earth and is.nThanks.
Marine Drive is a 3.6-kilometre-long Promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai, India. Often, the names Marine Drive and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road are used interchangeably to refer to this 3.9km stretch. The road and promenade were constructed by late philanthropist Bhagojisheth Keer and Pallonji Mistry. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concreteroad along the coast of a natural bay. At the northern end of Marine Drive is Girgaon Chowpatty and the adjacent road along links Nariman Point at southern tip to Babulnathand Malabar Hill at northern tip. Marine Drive is situated on reclaimed land facing west-south-west. Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's Necklace because, when viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace.
Marine drive sweeps around the bay. It is one of the most beautiful place in Mumbai to visit. The view from here is fantastic. Usually locals also Jog here often in morning and in evening. If you want to spend your evening beautifully, I must say you should come here. Tourist takes photos of clouds in monsoon. It is also considered as the largest viewing gallery of the world.
What a vibe! You've to come here to feel it. Words aren't enough to describe the aura of this place. It's so soothing and relaxing. The sound of the ocean and the cold breeze that blows is amazing. If you're planning to come here, make sure you plan it during night because that's the only time when there's no rush.
