Very good experience. Nice place to walk, play and visit the zoo. Very child friendly place. There are different species of animals like birds, tigers, reptiles, leopards, cougars, big cats and monkeys. The lake and garden is also a very good place for picnic. Not very vast area. The whole place can be covered with in 4-5 hrs. There is separate place for car parking ans local totos and autos are available.

Botanical gardens are important places in many reasons and also for systematic study and research on flora of the region. These are the places of great academic and economic importance. Botanical gardens are the institutions that maintain the living plant collections of different varieties of plants, including the ornamental and cultivated ones, wild, medicinal, of economic importance, of various geographical regions, of special interest etc. They are of value not only to the botanists, horticulturists and foresters but also to the millions of tourists. Actually a big botanical garden possesses plant species from several corners of the world. It also includes green houses, a library, a herbarium, research laboratories, and several miscellaneous resources including photographs, paintings, illustrations, reprints, note-books and specimens of several types, it is therefore, not merely a garden but a botanical institution. Luca Ghini was the first person to establish a botanical garden on scientific lines in 1543 at Pisa in Italy. At present there are over 600 important botanical gardens in the world. This botanical garden is one of the best botanical gardens in the state of Jharkhand. Many kinds of animals, birds and reptiles are been kept here. You can enjoy with your family in a family picnic or get together. You could try boating in the lake here and enjoy the scenic beauty of the garden. Butterfly garden should be tried out for sure. After-all it's just amazing.

Tata Steel Zoological Park is situated in the corner most area of Jubilee Park.[1] This zoo is known for its Safari Park, which enables tourists to drive through the wooded area, where animals roam freely. Tourists can also visit the Nature Education Centre in the zoo,[2] which gives information about the zoo animals. Other things to do in this zoo are to take a boat ride in the Jubilee Lake and walk along the nature Trail.

All animals can be seen from very close and one can rent a bicycle at the gate and enjoy the trip
