Thailand Cultural MRT Station

Great station. I am sure it will be crowded during office hours. Ask for travel coins at the counter, you might not find a vending machine to exchange bank notes for coins.

Here I am rating a metro stop. Crazy. Anyhow, why 4 stars and not 5? One reason only, the absurdity of not having one metro card for all public transport such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, etc. The Bangkok MRT is clean, modern, efficiently run, safe, and reliable. It operates as a model for many other metro areas globally so why can't the different metro entities get coordinated around a project like Hong Kong's Octopus card? If it did then 5 stars. 2021 people. Work out the ownership, accounting, and systems issues and make all mass transit useable on 1 card.

After 8.00pm,I spent a coffee times here. Nice security, you just have to leave on time as the MRT concerns for the public's rules in order to provide the best usages of transportation.

Very well maintained station, clean and big space. Not so crowded. There are few big shopping centers near by that. As a expat who needs to buy some groceries and household stuff, very convenient. Many restaurants, homepro, Tops market etc.

Exit 2,3 are not connected underground with exit 1,4. Therefore passengers coming through exit 1,4 can't go to the metro mall.
