I was backpacking and stayed here alone on 28 Dec 2019.. Read about it on the Internet.. Took a shared cab from Pithoragarh and got down in front of this guest house..The owner Mr. JAGDISH Chandra Patni and his wife run this quaint place.. it has about 4 to 5 rooms.. I reached unannounced yet got a room.. the room was facing the hill, had adequate sunlight, clean bedsheets and clean bathrooms.. Town is about 2 km away, I walked back from town once by road and it was a breeze.. Mr. PATNI and his wife are a very cordial couple..they gave tea when requested.. evening dinner was authentic Kumaoni food which he and me are while his wife cooked fresh rotis.. Very warm couple..I definitely recommend a stay with him.. As a bonus he drove me up a nearby hill to show his family land from where we get a beautiful view of the city..he showed m a lovely hike up to a mata temple which I did next day morning..up and down in 1 1/2 hours.. Recommended stay..
