This is a nice place to visit, rooms are clean and for marriage and other functions it has nice capacity for great occupancy.

Receptionist asked for 2000 and I bargained for 1200. Even at this price it was an expensive room. Services was not up to the mark. I had to leave the hotel at 430 am and no one was available at the reception to open the main gate for exit. Not recommend unless you don't find any other room in Almora.

We got this room @₹400 per night but it was definitely worth more than that. The check in process was smooth. The staff spoke softly and showed unmatched hospitality (in a homely sense). I feel that it is the most important aspect because we were three students who came for an educational purpose, and hardly do staff show as much respect. The rooms are quite spacious (pictures already posted are true representations). It is a little away from the city and if going by car then you'll have to travel a little extra. They provide in room food services from a restaurant nearby (Shagun Restaurant) which is excellent, reasonably priced and reaches in time. There is a shed on the roof, so you can dry clothes (helps for budget travellers)! Great stay.
