Surprised from such a huge crowd visiting this dam, found it missing on Google. So naturally tourists should not be deprived from information on this beautiful site.nnHaving sought darshan of Lord Shamlaji ,you can both either walk half a km or drive 1 on to reach this point. If you reach by walk then you are bound to have an entirely heavenly pleasant experience as we tried both approaches.nnBy car we reached in a few minutes and experienced the dam views but walkway starting adjacent to Shamlaji Museum we could spot a nice shallow water stream, Nagdhara pond, Neelkanth Mahadev & Kalsi Chhokara ni Maa nu Mandir historical temple, decades old tree's and a pleasant light trek up to dam site.nnAll in all except summer and hot days this is a cool place to hangout with family and friends both as group or solo too.nnEnjoy your way.
