Shimla Water Catchment Wildlife Sanctuary

This place is very beautiful and attractive. It is a wonderful place to understand nature and get lost in it. This place is favorable for wildlife and all kinds of other animal lovers.

When we reached it was closed due to covid restrictions. please check before going. That being said it seems like an amazing place and we'd definitely be visiting again soon.

Place is covered with ud83cudf32 and there is some beautiful small house in middle of the forest, from there you can imagine your moments with joy. Means outstanding

Shimla Water Catchment Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best wildlife sanctuary in Shimla. The sanctuary is of 10 kilometer square in size. The landscape is so beautiful with the sloppy terrain and Devadaru dominated vegetation with a grassy ground story. The sanctuary is renowned for its biodiversity and the water catchment setup which is made before 1901 by Britishers. The sanctuary is inhabited by Mammals like Leopard, Himalayan Goral, Barking Deer, Yellow Throated Marten, Porcupine and Giant Flying Squirrel etc. There os a Bicycle Safari track is available in this sanctury which has a length of 7km inside the forest area.
