The best place to stay if you're visiting Malvan. Owners are amazing, staff are friendly and helpful, food there is the best! Rooms are shiny and clean as well. 10 on 10 for the property

Visit period -6 Feb to 10 Feb 2021.nnTransport- Try to get train or travel at night time so that u reach hotel in morning and start your sight seeing on same day and dont have to spend additional on room rent.nI have travelled from Mumbai so it was best option. In your case you have to see as per your location.nFrom Kudal station you can get ST and Auto.nST charges 40 Rs per person whereas Auto charges 600. It takes one hour from station to Malvan ST Stand. Both are convinient. You can choose as per your budget and time.nnRoom - Room needs to be painted. There is no sufficient light in room. Bedsheet and pillow covers were very old. Outside view is not good. Bathroom was clean but flooring was dirty. TV is very small (20 inch). There is no TV and Dinning table in hall attached. Wifi available in haĺl but do not reach in bedroom.nnHotel location- Location is 1 km away from Malvan ST stand. To reach there only option is auto which charges double than actual fare. It is normal practice in Malvan. If you are looking for good location which is convinient for shopping and sight seeing then you should prefer location between Malvan beach and ST stand.nnClimate - Climate was good in February. Outside it was hot but in rooms it was ok. Night time it was cool so dont prefer AC rooms in winter season.nnFood - Food was same as other hotels. Tried 3-4 good restaurants but everywhere it was same taste so nothing different from it. Quantity is very less for veg thalis and breakfast. Anything extra will be charged. It is for all hotels in Malvan. My family was only guest in hotel at that time so food availability as per choice was restricted. May be it is not issue in peak season.nnSight seeing - For sightseeing best hotel location is malvan beach as all points are close to it.nn2 days are sufficient if you plan properly.nnDay 1 - Boating at devbag beach which includes 8 points (Dolphin, point, golden rock, Tsunami beach, nivati beach, kavda rock and 3 more ) is must. Try to reach at devbag beach in morning by 9 am so that you can avoid sun rays and enjoy most till lunch time. They charges 1700 for full boat of 8 people. Try to share boat with others so that it will be cheap. Dont book anything from hotel. Carry caps and extra cloths for water.nnEvening time visit Chiwle beach and rock garden which is very close by. Rock garden is good for kids 3-8 years. It is also famous for sunset.nnDay 2 - Visit sindhudurg Fort in morning. Again try to reach there early to avoid sun rays. Carry cap and sun glasses.nVisit other beaches in evening but practically to go in water on all beaches is not possible and nothing different in it so just visit all beaches to see their beauty. Wairy beach, kolamb beach, Talashil tondawali beach, Achari beach.nnShopping - If you love malvani food then you can buy masalas. Cashew is another option. There is nothing more to buy.nnRides- Dont take boat from tarkarli. Take boat from Devbag beach for Tsunami and other points. If u want to go only to Tsunami then they charge you 75 per head. For all 8 points they charge 1700 for 8 people. Try to share boat if you have less people. Scuba and paracelling get from Chiwla beach as it is cheap. I paid 500 Rs for each ride.nnPeople - staff and people outside are cooperative and friendly.nnTransport for sight seeing- If you can ride bike then get it else Auto is expensive and not convinient. It is 350 Rs for bike for whole day.nnTry to book hotel directly and not online. Online they will charge taxes and fixed rates which is higher. U can always bargain directly with hotel with no taxes.nnIt is great scenery, people, fish and climate to enjoy your vacation.
