Amli Tola Circle is a famous circle at the border point of Ishwarganj Upazilla and Gouripur Upazilla of Mymensingh District of Mymensingh Division. Once upon a time there was a gigantic tamarind tree. In Bengali language Tamarind is renowned in the name of imlee/amli/tetul. For that reason this place is famous in the name of Amli Tola. This is focal point of Tarundia, Matikhola, Indrajitkhola, Nagarzatrapur, Nawbhanga, Volaralgi, Aladiar Algi, Char Algi, Mirzapur, and Uchakhila.
