Mountain Trails Ooty

I regret to say that we had very bad experience at mountain trails only because of manager SIVAKUAMR, he was very rude. We stayed there a week before during covid period and we were allowed only with epass. Initially epass was provided with only one date rather than range of dates, we got epass for September 12 and we reached ooty on the same day and stayed at another resort, after that came to mountain trails to stay on 13th of September, when he checked epass he said that epass should be with today's date to stay here, we were explaining him all the story. And we said if any police inquiry regarding this we are ready to explain them and if any issues we are ready to checkout at the same time as well but he was not at all hearing us, talking like a mad. We did not know whether he was expecting some extra money from us. And when we booked room through makemytrip, we called mountain trails and asked stay for driver, they said that they will arrange place for driver.but when we came for check in, Manger said that we can't provide accomadtion for driver, we said that we called u before booking room and confirmed about the saty for driver and u said yes that time, he resufed to accept that and he was very rude, we were totally disappointed to stay there, we were very tired and hungry and with all these we were standing at reception for 30 mins and fighting with him. Had very bad experience. Finally he allowed to check in, and coming to room hygiene which is not good like manager, it was stinking and doors are not in condition. Only good thing with mountain trail is good view from balcony. We stayed in first floor. And morning breakfast was not that much, they gave idly, pongal, sambar and chutney. We booked this place by seeing good rating in makemytrip and many posstive comments in reviews but which disappaiend us now

Amazing location , the green lawn where you can just sit and enjoy the sunshine . Rooms are clean and tidy. Food is good too. Staff is very helpful & try their best to get best experience for customers. I might return back again. Only issue is lack of cellular network

This property situated amidst valley is breathtaking. A perfect holiday escape. Amazing rooms and the people here..felt like mountain trails family

Food quality poor. Waters dropping from roof. Beds are not clean. In Bathroom only 2 to 3 minutes hot water coming. No room heater service if required then extra charges.

Its the view from the resort that takes the 4 stars. You ll wake up to the best view from the room. Its a great place for one who loves natureud83eudd70 Mr. Rakshith was great. He was there whenever we called for and provided for whatever we asked for. Manager was cool and good. The only issue was about hot water. Please make sure hot water is available. Exempt that everything else was good.
