Kumar’s Mountain View Cottage

It's a well located property in the beautiful serenity of Coonoor. Just a few minutes walking distance from SIMs Park and Mall Road. The other tourist spots are also at close driving distances.nnThe property is well managed, offers all basic amenities, well decorated and has good staff. The kitchen lady prepares good food, property is kept clean, service staff is readily available, rooms are clean, good sitting and dining areas on each floor. And not to forget to mention their newly employed staff Mr Joe aka Joshua who is a multi-talented guy (Guitarist, Local Guide, Snake Catcher, Sales Man, Administrator).nnI would recommend this place for stay in Coonoor if you are planning a visit.

Give a 2nd thought before booking the place... WHY ?n1. staff is not great in terms of behavior (starts shouting on customers if asked for hot water).n2. sharp 6:30 in morning woodpecker starts his work on a tree behind the house (which is close to window) which is very disturbing.n3. dosa is for 40/- which is very overrated compare to the taste and overall food was not that great.n4. 1st floor balcony have proper safety but for the ground floor outer area (smoking area) is completely open (as you know wild animals can get in easily).n5. The rent was overrated as well.

It's a great weekend destination, Good service and very polite & helpful staff. Daily got fresh and Tasty Breakfast etc.

Neet and clean Rooms and homely food

We recently visited Coonoor and stayed for a day in this hotel. The location is about 200 yards from SIMS Park and about 1 km from Bedford Circle, the town centre. A very convenient location. Moreover, Mr. Sandeep Kumar is very understanding and helpful. Mr. Williams, manager is always attentive and courteous. The eversmiling Ms. Siba in the kitchen is a great cook and prepared tasty dishes for us. We had a wonderful stay! Thanks team Kumar's Mountain Cottage!
