The Taxi stand is worthless. The drivers here don't go for rides unless you pay a fixed more than double fare. A 2.5 km to the airport from here they will ask for 400-500 bucks.They use to drink here whole day and night.

This the main post office of Dumdum Area, mainly it delivers all posts which belongs to 700028 Pin Number.nIf you are having courier coming and if you are not in town then postman will come to apartment and will drop a note in your letter box for collecting the post in next 4 working days after 2-5pm else they will send back your courier to its source location.nnThey will entertain you untill its 2. So take a leave and collect your things.
