The place is over hyped. Although it's serene and beautiful with crystal clear water flowing down the river from the slopes of of Bhutan mountains, the picnickers have spoilt it's beauty by leaving behind trash every where. Plastic bottles, chip wraps, polythene bags, broken liquor bottles littered and strewn all around. The beauty of the place needs to be preserved and not destroyed.

Location is great. Only problem the accessibility of the location. 35 km road is in too bad condition. Government should repair it. It will be a major tourist spot then.

Nice picnic spot next to mountain river coming out of Bhutan hills. The rocks in the river are very slippery, be careful about walking into the river. The road from highway to the spot is very bad, almost next to off-roading. But the spot is so pristine, it will cool you off all the pains. There is an entrance fee of 100 rupees per bike and 200 rupees per car. The google maps rote shown to the spot is not entirely correct. It goofs up at the very last 200 metres. So better talk to locals and understand the route instead of relying on google maps, once you take right turn at Saralpara market. There are not much food options. Only some stalls selling local branded chips.

The best place for outing and spending time with loved ones in Kokrajhar. Lying in the foothills of the Bhutan Border, Saralpara is sure to mesmerize you with utmost natural beauty and memories.nI would give a four star because the committee that is present there whom we pay for entry, they drastically failed to miantain the natural required cleanliness in the area. T
