I have stayed in monsoon apartment for a week. I loved the way owners treated us and helped in many things. The greenary infront of the flat is very refreshing. I enjoyed every evening in the lawn and had a great time for the vacation.

Great place for a stay. Difficult to access, but rewards you with a great view and a serene location.

I came to know about this place only after reaching Kannur and it was a walk-in booking.nI stayed there two nights (08 and 09 December 2019)nThe apartment is tastefully furnished with two spacious bed-rooms, a living room, and modern kitchen and bathrooms. The whole accommodation is a stand alone building (only two apartments) in a big compound. It is run by a couple -M r.Babu and Ms.Reema both worked outside India for more than 25 years- one of them is always available at the property.nThe hospitality of the owners was amazing and made the stay memorable; they provided home-made traditional Malabari breakfast and snacks, which were very delicous.nMr. Babu acted as a local guide and took me to see the beach, Arakkal museum , handloom weaving etc. He also introduced me to some specilaity items like kallummakkaaya nirachchathu (a tasty preparation with muscles and rice powder).nI would consider this place as my first choice during my future visits (which is certain as a business need) to North Kerala. We stayed in Monsoon Apartments for 35 days from August to early September 2020 as an extended quarantine stay during the COVID pandemic. This apartment is situated in an unbelievably calm and quiet location near the city. We stayed on the first floor of this beautiful apartment. We were especially looking for a fully furnished house with provisions for cooking with all the essential cooking utensils. The apartment has a big and well-maintained garden with a lot of beautiful flowers and some fruiting plants. The rooms are well furnished and thoughtfully designed and the decor is aesthetically laden with a pleasing color palette. The beautiful garden attracts a wide variety of chirping birds and butterflies. After our house quarantine restriction was over, we found the garden to be our best hang-out place in the afternoon and my 4-year-old son particularly enjoyed running around and watering the plants. We were able to enjoy the day-long heavy monsoon shower as well as the moonlight nights from the most spectacular spot of the house, the balcony. It was also our special place to welcome the day with the warm morning sunlight by sipping a cup of tea along with or enjoy our late evening snacks. My son especially made it his play area.nnMr. Adnan and Mrs. Reema, the owners of the apartment showered excellent hospitality and interacted with us with the most humble and compassionate deportment. Since our stay was pretty long one amidst the pandemic, we needed a lot of support from them regarding extra utensils, buying necessary veggies and groceries and all of our such needs were happily taken and catered with good care. They listened to all of our queries patiently and resolved them amicably. Furthermore, Adan was so kind as to offer us a drive around the place and showed some beautiful and not much explored touristy spots. Some nights Adnan stayed on the ground floor and few such occasions we hang out and discussed a lot of things ranging from his experience of working in the middle east for over a quarter of the century, astronomy, politics, and travel among so many other topics, made me realize with such taste on worldly affairs, how cool a host can be.nnWe had a splendid and memorable time staying in Monsoon Apartments and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in this calm and easily accessible place near the city and I bet you will have a wonderful host who's forte is hospitality and care.
