Really a good place of historical importantance..and maintenance is not so good.. especially in Danish fort..even though they are collecting entry fees.. there is no proper maintenance...and apart from that beaches are really good.. Its just a 4 hour drive from Chennai and probably a good place to spend a weekend

Wow what a great memory for Tamil Christians. Ziegenbalg is an iconic protestant missionary who brought First Tamil Bible in print. This monument is 200th anniversary reminder to this great man of God. His legacy will be spoken off as long as the Christianity remains in the world. I was so encouraged to see this great man's achievements. Privileged to walk where he walked and breathe the air.
