First of all, in pictures you can see a big Monastery type place in an open green area, that is not Green Tara at all! Green Tara is a standard traveller's stay and other pics are genuine.nnCost comparing to service is perfect, nothing special, you will get what you are paying for.nnRooms are just fine and comfortable, however a little cleanliness is much appreciated and can make this place more attractive. View from the rooms are really great!nnFood is good and tastes great considering the location of this place and expect no special things.nnLastly: Hosts/Owners are too welcoming and courteous. They will try to make your stay as much as comfortable. Five stars & definitely a must stay comparing cost to service.nnNote to couples: This is not a romantic honeymoon kind of place, rather I would say budget place.

This is a basic guest house, more of a homestay with basic amenities as can be expected in a remote village like Lachung. It is located in a quiet cornet of the village near the gompa. The views are spectacular surrounded by the snow clad mountains and the soothing sound of a running stream. The food is also delicious and homely and the staff are helpful and friendly. The electric blanket is a lifesaver during the freezing nights!nOn the con side, the cleanliness can improve. The prices are a bit on the steeper side (they charged ₹3000 for one room including dinner and breakfast for two persons), but I assume that is the standard in lachung.

Pros:nnBeautiful place. Good food.nWell maintained and amazing vibes.nHad gone with friends, best part the host is amazing .nLovely person. Makes you feel like home.nIn all an amazing experience.nnCons:nnThe biggest flaw of this place which we all found was that we could not let go of it. It’s so homely that it feels really sad when one has to leave it.nnKudos to the host.nMay God bless you.nTill we meet again.

This hotel is really amazing run by a humble owner... Great hospitality .. Serves you really good dishes and local cuisines... Rooms are cozy and warm with good aesthetics ... And also reasonable price... Highly recommended... You will definitely have a great time..
