The owner and staff was really helpful and accommodating.nnThe room was normal, but since it was located in a remote location, we were not expecting any luxury either. The food provided to us was really tasty and since they only have a small dining room, they prepare food as per order/time-slot and per room. They would ask you for a time-slot and you can have your food in that slot. Other slots would be provided to guests in other room. This means fresh food for everyone.nnAfter dinner, when we were taking a walk, the owner asked us if want to sit near the fireplace (angithi). We said yes and he set up some chairs in the shop near the fireplace. After that, we had some really good conversations and he shared his stories and experiences. It was really a nice gesture from the owner.nnNo wifi.nnI would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed there for a night when we visited to Lachen. The rooms are compact, clean, with water heater in bathroom and electric kettle (essentials). We got a package for 1200 rs per person per day which included room stay , dinner, lunch and tea. The food menu and taste were average, it needs uplift. Got to know that the package tour to Lachen provides similar kinda food in other places as well.nBdw, they have a small shops for cold drinks, liquors etc. Try their Tongba (Sikkim's home made eine) and ask for yak meat which was nice.nRest..not bad for a night stay during a day trip to Lachen , gurudongmar lake, zero point and kaala pathhar extra.

Nice family run hotel with clean and cozy rooms and good food. Good view of lachen from room. Recommended

Very nice, neat, clean, cozy rooms. Amazing hospitality by Karma bhai and his family... I can literally say sweet home in the mountains. Rooms are spacious still very comfortable... And the best part is the food, they provided us one of the finest food in our entire Sikkim trip... Amazing staffs... And the small champ Tenzing put an another dimension to our stays in Lachen... A big thumb up for this property, a must try in a rural place like Lachen...
