Considering the place and the distance between the small town with the capital, some of the basic amenities are lacking. But I'm sure it's true for all the hotels in lachen. The view is amazing. The balcony is good for a smoke. The food was tasty and the staffs were super friendly. But there are no room heaters and also quite a noisy place consider it's a small place. Need to work on the cleanliness but still it gave us a pleasant time

Rooms are of good size, cleanliness average, staff behaviour good.nGood basic hotel for your stop over to gurudongmar.

Staff behaviour is not so good. Stay is average. We asked for hot drinking water 4-5 times. They didn't bother to give it. Dining time is not so well. Food is also average. Rooms are very cold and heater is banned in Lachen as per tour operators mentioned.

Worst hotel ever i have been to in my entire tour life of 16 years...Except the room...Food was worst than hospital canteen and Geyser was also not working...

Ok, we were totally underprepared for the Sikkim tour and stay at econest was night stop to reach Gurudongnar. It was arranged by the tours co tht we had connected with.nAfter a good 6-7 hour drive from Gangtok, this was not a comfortable place to stay. In fact I had high acidity and all along the way me and son puked like crazy. One of the key reason was that we couldn't sleep at night peacefully as the room was too small for 2 Adults adn 2 kids and there were limited heaters.nnWe managed to get one somehow but it was not comfortable.nBathroom was not good and all I can say is that if your budget is not shoe string and u are not accustomed to staying in house stays....then just AVOID.
