Best attractions of Darjeeling also called DHR.. 2 feet narrow gadge railway built in the year 1881 by British. It's about 88 K.M long from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. Though now its run from Darjeeling to Ghum station with a joy ride. You can take your reservations from any of those station with a price of Rs. 1000/- for diesel engine and for Rs. 1500/- for steam engines. Now only Darjeeling railway/DHR provide steam engine rail. Don't miss it. It's just amazing to ride with the pride of Darjeeling.

Awesome place

We could not get a ride on DHR Darjeeling Heritage Railway as the Railways was still not operating the DHR long after the Covid lockdown was lifted and to get a feel of this heritage DHR we visited the Darjeeling Railway station.nnHere we got to see the DHR engines, bogies, Railway booking counters, narrow tracks pictures and history and more details of the DHR.nnCould notbget a ride so this dream is still incomplete.nnKeep clean and green and keep Darjeeling clean
