One of the best botanical garden in India. Veer foundation is a well maintained forest garden. You can find nature education centre here. Veer foundation have different dipartments. Beautiful dynasaur park also here. In this park you can find original eggs of dynasures found in various part of Gujarat. Boan of dynasaur also displayed here. Other side of veer foundation you can visit mini zoo. Various types of of birds,Domestic and forest Animals cages. Whole Feet foundation design with beautiful landscape. You can spare three to four hours.

Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation is an autonomous body, set up in 1982 by the Forests & Environment Department, Government of Gujarat. The Foundation has been registered as a Society under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860, and as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950.nThe Foundation is governed by a Board of Governors chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Worst 3rd Class place and cheating to Public no food and tea found inner side only 2 lion 1 chittah and you will find far all animals.Cages u will find mostly empty. muddy garden hot water and pathetic place. I request people to go somewhere else than here. Best for tracking only. I am giving rating 1 only because of botanical garden. Take it seriously my things and complaint here.

GEER FOUNDATION - full form of GEER is Gujarat Ecological Education and Research. Its a autonomous body of government of Gujarat. It is also connected with state forest department. There is so many ongoing ecological project including Sardar sarovar narmada nigam limited (SSNNL), Integrated coastal zone management project (ICZMP), Ecological monitoring of 5 important Wetland of Gujarat, ecological monitoring of Nal Sarovar, ecological monitoring of estuaries of Gujarat etc.. Along with research activities there is also Nature education camp is also held by Geer foundation. Here you will find good books in library of GEER. Visit for once and you will gain so much knowledge from this place. Research staff of GEER FOUNDATION is very nice and cooperative. Visit once and gain knowledge.

Bad- very bad place Apart from botanical garden u will find nothing.Have tea and food from home. U won't see animals as described. 2 lions in one cage and leopard in a cage is called zoo by gir foundation.Empty cages u will find a lot.Wow! For Tracking experience.Patertic too.Complaint to gir foundation for redeveloping it in a such a way.Same on you gir foundation cheating this way...
