Maharajas Palace Houseboat

I was there in last week of August. We stayed two nights in Maharaja Houseboat. Everything in the houseboat was very good except the washroom. The dining room was decorated with chandeliers, very good old-fashioned furniture. You even can’t understand that you are on water. The washroom was not good at all especially the commode. May be there was scarcity of fresh water. You will feel very discomfort in the washroom.nThere was WiFi arrangements but speed is too slow.nAn space is left with a very good sitting arrangements in the back of the boat. The sun set in the Dal Lake was exceptionally excellent with a cup of coffee. There was a guitar. You can play. There was divan to enjoy the mind blowing beauty of the Dal Lake. We find some ducklings swimming in the lake.nThe Shikara Ride was incomparable. I suggest you to go for the ride at least 2 hours before the sunset and stay in the lake for another 20 minutes after the sun set if you don’t have very young kids. Seeing the city from the lake in the evening was absolutely incredible. In the lake, you may find natural garden of huge Water Lily, Mint Leaf. You will not believe that I find a mongoose here.nMany floating business man with their will visit you, when you will be in boat. I’ll suggest you not to buy anything from them. They charge much. You had better buying tiny souvenirs when you will be in the ride in the lake. They are cheaper! When you go for shopping inside the boathouse, the owner claims percentage!!nFinally, please don’t forget to test Trout Fish.
