Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre

Have seen the initiation of various sustainable activities to the community welfare with vast conducts of employment and economic building programs from its initial stages till present. One active participant and an advocate for an eco environment. Though it's dwedling reputation in the last few years (reasons best known to the members, as supported by lesser media exposures), it's revival will perhaps give it an uplifting look. Met the Former Team Leader Lt Norman Putsure who was a very figurative and enthusiastic leader, so became aware of the existence of this Department. Rooting for their products and the ever refining bamboo charcoal; which is smoke resistance and has longer burning duration with lesser health implications.

Awesome place at dimapur. A very well maintained area. As a resource centre for bamboo the whole area is covered with it. Fun place tu hangout with friends. Especially in the time of hornbill that is early December, the place is full of different events and festivals. You could by different items made from bamboo. A small eatery is also available inside. The park and garden is also a fun place to be and clicking pictures. Overall an awesome experience, will definitely visit next time when we are back at nagaland. ✌ufe0f
