Oddly cut mountains surround this stagnant rain water. Earlier the mountains were blasted to collect stone chips but now the remains harbour the waters.nnAlthough there is not much to see but it's quite scenic. Occasionally youths can be seen taking bath in the waters and having their evening 'khatti'. Fine enough place to hang out with friends or family.nn-The 'kaccha' roads were a huge turn off. It is a tough ride to make both for cars and bikes.n-As such there are no parking lots or sign boards or any refreshment shops nearby.nTrucks carrying loads of stone chips can be seen frequently through the way as a few factories are set up around the village.nn-Basically it is not a BMC specified picnic spot, hence the lack of facilities.n-It is definitely not wheel chair accessible.n-Should return back before it gets dark as there are no street lights and the roads are quite bumpy and twisted.

Its a active rock mine, as it continues to be mined. Its scenic because of the algea water in the rock excavated sites.

Beautiful place. Roads are not proper so it will be a bit difficult to go by scooty. Prefer to take bike or car.
