Historical monument .. stood over 1000 years ... But need to take care and attarct more visitors ...

Big fort on small hill is having large fortification, strong bastions, gateways, ditch, temple, mosques, cannons, and many monuments. The fort temple and dargah were declared as protected monuments by the Archaeology Department. This Fort is a massive fort dating back to the 14th century and built by Kakatiya rulers. This fort was conquered by Muslim rulers, Bahamanis, Qutub Shahis and later occupied by the Nizams. The Kasikund temple was constructed on the patterns of the Kasi temple. There are 3 other temples dedicated to Rama, Hanuman and Balaji.

Kowlas fort is a old 14 century massive barren fort but has it's own history from kowtiya's dynasty of nizambad, it 170 km away from city Hyderabad... It's a nice place to go for outing with friends for a day , where you will find ☮ufe0f peace full atmosphere, friendly locals and a river flowing front of fort and a asthabuji mata mandir (yellamma gudi) on the other side of fort in the middle of woods....
