Kolkata Heritage River Cruise

The ride was good. Its available in three timings i went for the 4pm one. In summers, ill suggest to take up the 6pm ride as it would be cooler and the lighting inside would be mesmerizing. If you want to enjoy the sun and its light go for the 4pm one. Its a double deck cruise,the lower part gives better experience. It also has a cafe where one can get light snacks and coffee. The ride is of 1.5 hours. The only drawback is it keeps revolving in the same area. It wont take you very far.

Tour is good. The vessel could have been better. Price is low, dts good. Food stocking on board is not proper and enough for all the passengers.

The ride will begin from Kolkata’s Millennium Park jetty; move north towards Ahiritola along the Eastern bank of the Hoogly and then take a U-turn and move along the Western bank before returning to the start point.nThe ride will cover some historical landmarks such as the Eastern Railways Headquarters, Vidyasagar Setu, Eden Gardens and many such heritage buildings during the journey with traditional Bengali music to soak in the ambience.

The 90 minutes cruise ride is value for money in 39rs ticket per head. Beautiful place for photography. Amazing view of howrah bridge (Rabindra Setu), hoogly bridge (Vidyasagar Setu) and river Ganges.
