The place is neatly maintained. I feel except tourists no local people will visit that place. The problem I've observed here is, tourists don't have mobile network coverage for their phones and the staff over there wants tourists to pay online by scanning the QR code for the Palace entrance. They tried to give me their WiFi access but it didn't work. I paid by cash after convincing them in the last.

The ancient Leh of Namgyal dynasty. It's an engineering feat of 7 levels of stonework. Each level has its own characteristics. It's have pictures of all the monuments of India and where they are located. The entry fees is 20/person. You can book the tickets online.

Breathtaking view from palace. Also you can go for short trek while coming out of leh palace for an amazing view.
