It's a picturesque lake that is the main drinking water source of Tirupati town. In the past, the reservoir was never full due to bad monsoon. But in the recent years, thanks to rain gods, the reservoir has received copious amounts of water. If you want to enjoy beauty of nature and the reservoir, go ahead and include it in your calendar. But please don't expect anything else. You have to go there just to enjoy the water body.

Nice and peaceful. Typically garbage thrown and left by visitors. Sad us Indians feel free to litter.

A nice place to hangout. From the main road, it is inside the police training college. This Dam is the water source for Tirupathi & Tirumala.nnThere is a parking lot with lot of shade. There was stairs, an elevated view just beside the dam. But it was closed. Else it would be very nice to click pictures.
