Its the best ever construction of a super structure in andhra pradesh. The project reservoir has live storage 75.2 tmcft at canal's full supply level of 41.15 metres (135 ft) MSL and gross storage 194 tmcft thereby enabling irrigation of 23,20,000 acre (including stabilisation of existing irrigated lands) in Krishna, West Godavari, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts of Andhra Pradesh.nnA fresh water coastal reservoir of storage capacity 1000 Tmcft (thousand million cubic feet) could be constructed along the sea coast to store the Krishna & Godavari river flood waters for creating additional irrigated area in Prakasam, Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Cudapah, Chittoor districts and further transfer of Godavari water to Kavery river in Tamil Nadu under interstate rivers linking projec

This is not a Bridge as Described in Title but an Upstream Cofferdam under Construction (constructed partially) to divert River water from Main Earth Cum Rockfill Dam (ECRF Dam) construction Site. The foundation treatment works of this main dam are completed and raising structure is scheduled to be taken up after Monsoon 2021 and planned to complete by May-2022.
