Our family share the love for this family and house. We treasure our time there with much fondness. Narian is great and his wife and mother-in-law are kind absolutely amazing cooks. They let me watch whilst they cooked too so I am now using so many top tips!! They also gave us a blessed necklace each and we truly treasure them. It's very simple accommodation but was fine for us. Intended to stay one night and we eventually left after 4 nights. Love the village too. Just ace!

A great home stay by Narain and family. It was a cozy place where we got amazing sleep. Narain’s mother was knowledgeable and gave us tips of Rewalsar. This is the perfect stopover on your way to Manali. If driving, the road from here to Manali is extremely beautiful - the best I’ve seen . Great helpful hosts.nnCons:n-common bathroom between 4-5 roomsn-hot eater is unpredictable we bathed in cold water

Make no mistake! We have stayed in around a hundred different places in India during our 10+ months travelling this glorious country and we both firmly believe that c g home stay is THE BEST. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed.nnEvery single detail was thought of and auntie geeta and husband were eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We felt at home from the moment that we arrived. It was like going to stay with our own family.nnThe food provided is not your usual dhaba style food - it is lovingly prepared home cooking style, and if you have the time, I'm sure that Geeta would love to show you how to cook. If only we could learn her recipe for her chutneys, we could make a fortune selling them in England because they are divine.nnThere is a beautiful roof top with the best views and if you wish to partake in yoga, you may join the family.nnThere are fantastic walks with rewarding views in the surrounding area. Not to mention the heartwarmingly serene atmosphere around the lake. We decided that one day, we would like to retire here! What a beautiful, beautiful place rewalsar is indeed.nnWe were welcomed as a part of the family and were instructed to return again, but not before we have a child of our own! Don't you worry. We will return. We never met Geeta's children as they are living in surrounding areas studying and working, but I have been in contact with her son via watsapp and he is very friendly indeed.nnPlease stay here. You will not regret it. Take it from two very fussy budget travellers.
