Such a vibe place for enjoyment.....but please care your self

Even though it is seasonal it attracts lot of people and it is the only majour waterfall in kasaragid district(if i am not wrong).it is very near to konnakkad,the last town towards kottanchery hills and thalakavery peak. It is close to the service road but parking facility is yet to made. Better not to visit during heavy rain. Good experience for kids and family. No shops near by except occassional small tea shops

Beautiful waterfall where one can enjoy bathing and spend time. The height of water is comparatively average and perfect for bathing. Only seen during monsoon season and road is good till the waterfall. There are a couple of shops for tea and snacks nearby. Parking seems to be difficult mainly with 4 wheelers.

At least in this heavy pouring days, the experience is marvelous here. You have to stand under the fast and thick falls allowing the stream to hit directly over your head to fully acknowledge the fancifulness of Achankallu.
