If you are looking for a budgeted hotel in Bekal this is the best one available, which is closely located to all the attractions at Bekal.nnWhen you arrive in front of the hotel, you might be completely confused as it would not match with the picture mentioned above. But, not to worry as the entry is from a small lane just beside the hotel and what transforms behind actually is quite impressive.nnYou will have ample parking and a very well mannered and humble staff. They may not be as trained as a folk in the 5 star hotel but they are very sincere in their work and extremely helpful.nnThe hotel also have a Health club with a Treadmill. Its quite small, nevertheless it can help you cut down some calories which you would surely require given the gastronomical wonder the restaurant offers. I am quite a concerned eater but I threw all the concerns to the wind and ate my heart out( dinner) in the 2 days I stayed.nnThe breakfast I think should be improved. The first day it was a buffet which did not have basic requirement, however the next day I was provided American breakfast and I was happy to start my day contended.nnThe room is good in size, but the bed is slightly small, if you have a small child who sleeps with you. Also I thought the AC fitting needs to be altered as it faces the door, instead of the bed and thus the room was not getting chilled for a long time.nnBut, I still think that if you are not the one who have a reservation in Taj or Lalit, this is the next best place to stay, especially due to the quality of staff and the great food. Also, in days to come, I am sure it would be getting better as I found that a Cafe and a banquet hall is being built.

This hotel is a standout among the other hotels in this area and they have got all the features of a star hotel. But in the room that i stayed the air conditioning and tv was in a semi damaged condition, the air flow direction adjusting flap was in a damged condition and tv has lines across the screen. The restaurant is not so spacious and i found that the cutlery was not so clean.!! They dont have ample parking space.

Not a good hotel, a/c doesn't work properly, they changed 3 rooms in 2 days, all if them have same a/c problem. Blankets were not cleaned, there were blood marks when they gave new room. Narrow entrance and bar is adjacent to ur rooms, it gives smell. My suggestion is it is not for families.

Hotal Bakal Palace located to RTO office road,Kanhangad.I did not stay there but visited many times. It is a premimum class hotal and they trying to place neat and clean.,treat well thier customers.
