It is a part of Gwalior Fort.The Vikram Mahal is a historical site inside the Gwalior Fort complex in Madhya Pradesh. The place is situated at a distance of close to 5 kms from the Gwalior railway station.The Vikram Mahal was built by Vikramaditya, the son and heir of Maharaja Mansingh. Since he was also a devotee of the Lord Shiva, the place is also known as the Vikram Mandir, as it housed a temple in it before it was destroyed during the Mughal period. A newer temple established in later times in an open space outside the Vikram Mahal still exists at its spot, along with a mosque inside one of the smaller buildings of the palace.

Suface area.the campus of   fort represent existence since 6th century and govern by no of diffrent rullers in its history. The fort consist of amazing structure and two main places such as mansingh palace and guzri mahal.mansing palace is built by raja mansingh tomar and guzri mahal for queen of mrugnayani, now its an arcological Musium.it has two entry gate one is front and second is behind of fort.’’sas bahu temple,teli mandir,vikram mahal’’ there are lot of placed to visit in fort.famous gurudwara ’’data bandi chod’’ also in fort which is also so beautiful and peaceful.its a perfect place for families outdoors and picnic.
