The Sanctuary is situated in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh.nIt is located at distance of about 95 km away from Bhopal on National highway No-12 (Jaipur-Jabalpur Road).nnThe Sanctuary derived its name from the forest village Singhori situated on the highest mountain of this protected area.nnIn the Sanctuary carnivorous animals such as Panther, Bear, Wild Boar and Herbivorous animals like Cheetal, Blue bull, Deer, Wild pigs, Monkeys, Sambher, Neelgai and Snakes have been reported.nnBird population was also found in the areas adjoining cultivation.nnSeveral species of moist deciduous forests were found particularly in sheltered places. Woody climbers are very few and epiphytes as well as the orchids are rare.
