Eldorado Guest House

Kinda was a last minute deal because we landed in shillong without any bookings. It wasn't really worth the 2k we paid for the night. Basic amenities in the room which came along with a comfy bed, TV, wall fan, private bathroom (although really really small) and electrical plug points. Located on a major road, so well accessible. The manager and the staff seemed lost all the time.

Located very conveniently in Dhankheti, it has a very old school vibe. The room rates are between 1700 to 2400 inclusive of taxes which is very good. The rooms are big, bright and airy. For the price I would say it's a very good guest house and has good value. I would recommend this place.

Convenient, centrally located with quite peaceful atmosphere. Good parking space. But I wish the restaurant should open at least upto 9 p. m.

If you want to skip the hustle-bustle of police Bazar and other such areas, Eldorado is one guest house that you should look at.nnLocation: Conveniently located in Dhankheti, this place will surely ensure a peaceful stay in Shillong. You can easily get taxis (shared or otherwise) from outside the guest house and all prominent areas are nearby.nnTariff: The rooms are ranging from 1700 - 2500 INR. We booked one of the executive rooms which cost us around 2500 INR including taxes.nnFood: They have an in-house restaurant. Both food and room service were good.nnParking: Ample parking space if you are driving down.nnOne of the best things about the rooms was the cleanliness. The rooms were squeaky clean and airy with wooden floors.
