La Tngenlang Homestay

I stayed here for 2 days, no doubt the property is nice but the owner is very rude and non supportive his hospitality was really worse. They also have some hidden costs like if you cook in their kitchen they charge you 500, to clean up utensils they charge you 150. They will not allow you to use other amenities like toaster or microwave by saying that the electricity power is low. The menu is quite expensive also. Once again i would like to mention that all things can be ignored if the owner is supportive.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at La Tnenglang. It is truly a retreat for the mind, body, and soul. We had the entire property to ourselves as Ian, the owner, prefers just one party, regardless of the numbers. For an extra payment, we could use the kitchen. I had carried basic spices and condiments and enjoyed buying groceries and vegetables from the ubiquitous kirana shops. The caretaker was always at hand for any assistance. Ian arranged our sightseeing tours. I carried my laptop to work a bit, and books...We were homebound quite a bit to enjoy the stillness, silence, and rhr solitude of the homestay. Ian was just a phone call away and dropped by to ensure that we were taken care off. I'm glad we chose a place far from the madding crowd yet it was connected and safe.
