Very unique place to stay. We stayed for 5 days and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Colonial era villa reworked to function as a guest house and hence we cannot expect a full fledged hotel like experience. However the staffs, nearness to beach and all key places in white town makes it a perfect place for a vacation stay. There are few minor areas they can improve like the room noise insulation and maintenance of the property and these are definitely not deal breakers. Great place and value for money stay.

If you are looking for a quiet evening with your better half then this is the place. Good food, couple of wine selections, you can settle down under nicely decorated trees. I always visit this place when am in Pondicherry. Not a great place for more than 4-6 people groups. But fantastic place for a couple.

Extremely overrated, overpriced place with a need to learn lessons in hospitality. During my one day stay, I had to make peace with a leaking hose pipe, rickety toilet seat and dress-hangers and a foul smell in the washroom. The property owners have not invested in even simple facilities like convenient plug points in the room. The kitchen has a hell lot of limitations, for example, over their small complimentary breakfast menu, they cannot provide an extra fruit bowl even if you are willing to pay for it. The manager of the place was unbudged by the inconveniences I faced despite paying so much. The property very evidently lacks owner’s involvement. Just a big disappointment!

A very picturesque place. But food was not at all appealing. Very expensive too. Maybe just not the place for locals.
