Mettur Dam Park

This park is situated along the wall of the dam with beautiful atmosphere....nThe children can play slides , swings , climb bars , etc are there.nDrinking water facilities and rest rooms are available.nDifferent animals , birds , reptiles , fishes are displayed here.nThe park is maintained clean and we should also maintain the same.

Very good maintenance. 100% perfect for family and friends to spend their time for picnic. And also informative for school and college students to study dam structure and their mechanism

Park is very big. This is perfect place for the family visit. As there is play ground for the children to elder. Small zoo includes of deer,snake, birds. Location is very beautiful. Lots of sitting arrangements for public. Places for eating is available. Ticket price is just rs.5, so people can enjoy here. Timing is upto evening 6pm. Food items outside the park is costly so buy it from the main city itself before coming here. Major disappointment is we can't go top of the dam walking. It will be a visual treat if it is allowed to walk in dam path. Government should consider for this to public to view. Over all good experience.
