Love this place! I grew up on the triple chocolate mouse and chocolate Parisian cakes for birthdays and holidays. All their pastries are gorgeous and tasty. Perfect for work parties, weddings, or family gatherings. I also love their meat pies. Perfectly flaky crust and yummy beef filling. Potato balls are also popular.

They have great cookies and other pastries. However, if you are in the market for a personalized cake I would look elsewhere. The cakes are never ready on time and the order is almost always wrong. Most recently a friend of mine placed an order for a baby shower cake in blue. The cake wasn’t ready on time and to top it all off it was purple!! We didn’t take the cake. There was no sympathy or solutions offered from the manger of employees. They do need to make some changes and do some retraining. They’re cookies are perfection though!!!

I love this bakery. Family owned and super nice. Everything is super yummy. If you are out of town this is the place to go. You will wait in line for a while, due to being one of the best bakery in Chicago. 10 Stars

Slightly disappointed this was my first time ordering from here and they got my order wrong. I had came a week or earlier before the actual day I needed it for my sisters baby shower. Everything I asked for was there except for the specific flavor. I had asked for a tres leches cake and wasn't given that I think it was plain yellow cake. The roses, colors and decorations on the cake were perfect. I'd given them a picture of what I was looking for and they did come close to it. The cake wasn't bad at all I was just really looking forward to eating tres leches and biting into something else was a let down . Maybe it's because of the amount of people that come it's very busy so I won't be judging off one mistake. I also got a good size of cake for what I paid for. Everything looks delicious and I'm curious to know what other items taste like. Very unique bakery.

Family favorite bakery and their staff are amazing. Strawberry Short cake and Mary Ann are our favorite. For more than 30 years we have been going to this place and never disappoints. Roeser’s Bakery is an iconic place for people that are not from Chicago and its a most visit place to crave for sweets.
