Jhargram Mini Zoo

It's a nice zoo with plenty of variety of the animals, the environment is pleasing and a very good place to visit in the weekend with family. The environment is familiar and offers a very good view of the animals.There are variety of Deer, Snake, Monkeys and birds. The White Tailed Vulture is probably the largest bird I saw till now.

Very well behaved and safety cautious zoo staff. This zoo really can surprise anyone who is new to Jhargram. You won't find much big cats here as they only got a single leopard. A must visit if you visit Jhargram.

Nice place to spend quality time with family. Not well maintained, but it has its own taste of untouched nature. And obviously children can enjoy animals as its a zoo. ud83dude01

This small zoo and about 2 km from the town. This Zoological Park was opened by the state forest department. Deers, snakes, crocodiles, black rabbit, wolf, peacocks, bears, and various types of monkeys and several varieties of trees can see here. It is a good place to visit with children.nDistance between Kolkata to Jhargram is 178 km by Road. From Kolkata via NH6(Mumbai-Kolkata Highway) by Car you can reach at Jhargram within 4 hour’s journey. It is about 2 km from the Jhargram town
