I was an intern at Surana and Surana for the period; June-August. The firm was generous to bifurcate my duration into halves my tenure, taking into account my exams. At first, I was a bit anxious, as most of my peers impressed on me that, Top Tier firms only gives menial work to its interns and the associates are not engaging. However, like it is said, do not believe on hearsay, my experience was completely the opposite. From the outset of my internship, I was mostly assigned tasks on active cases and got an opportunity to work with big clients (which I do not consider as menial!). Due to this, my research saw a great uplift, as the prior to this internship the research that took several hours was completed in a matter of few hours. The seniors were very helpful and were always ready to deal with my endless barrage of questions. Not only did they share their opinion with me, they also took into consideration my legal opinion while engaging with the cases. All of this motivated me and made me enthusiastic about my work throughout the internship. In short: It is a great place to learn!

I would not recommend law students who are trying to intern at this firm. It's not that great place to learn.
