We stayed unfortunately only 2 night in this beautiful place. It was the best place in the whole India, we really felt in love. It was so quiet, directly in the nature. Manoj and Nisha are perfect hosts, they are so kind. We enjoyed everything, Nisha is a great cook, we could even look under her hands when she was preparing the meal for us. We could also eat on the banana leaves. Everything was delicious, we could taste different Kerala meals. Manoj took us for a short walk and showed us many interesting things. We learned a lot. We had a room upstairs with a small balcony and a wonderful view in the nature. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed every minute of it. We will definitely come back one day in your paradise. Found about this place through one of the online searches. Made a phone call and talked to Mr. Manoj. Although thoppil homestay was fully booked we got ourselves a room in his brother's place next door( River bench by Sabu). They offered us a warm welcome and offered tea right away. The room was very spacious with two doubles made it in to a big California King. Sabu and his wife were very hospitable. The homemade food was phenomenal. They took us down the power station and the river were we had so much fun playing in the water with the gorgeous view of the stream and mini falls through the rocks.nnTown of Munnar is only 20mins drive away. We drove all the way to top station and back within 11hrs with having enough time to stop at the tea museum, boating and numerous stopover to take pictures infront of the breathtaking view by the tea plantations

We loved our stay here.. Hosts are super super amazing ppl.. Felt so homely.. The food they prepare and gave was so so so delicious... And the place is so lovely in the lushgreens of munnar.. Rooms are very well maintained and it was an absolute bliss to be here!

Excellent homestay. Water falls in walkable distance. Extremely tasty home food. Worth a try. Only negative thing is, this place is a bit far from Munnar..
