A natural preserve with lush green vegetation, water streams, waterfalls, and with rich flora and fauna includes elephants, deers, snakes, butterflies etc.nnThe river Brahma giri flows through this sanctuary and it was named after its highest peak Brahma giri. Spanning around 200km radius, a perfect outing for nature lovers and can spend for half a day with family and friends.nnIt is 250 km away from bengaluru, 80 km from madikeri and 55 km away from Virajpet. It is home for iruppu and Chevalara waterfalls.nnPls donot litter the Natural preserves and pls carry back your plastic and other wastes ina bag or bottle and dispose off properly. Thank you.

A trek into the sactuary,called the Bilayadre trek is a nice 8 km trek you could go on if you like the outdoors. Its a very easy trek to finish while the only thing to be wary about are leeches.
