All these stars for the location, view, service. Food taste was not good. But it was compensated by the view of the valley and mountains from our room itself.nHaving a cup of hot coffee while you see all that beauty makes you appreciate nature even more.nWorth a nights stay if you traveling to Dras/Kargil ahead.nI visited in October of 2019

I've stayed here twice as a part of motorcycle trips through the Indian Himalayas, once in July 1017 and again in July 2019. The hotel is basic but clean. The rooms look out onto the mountains, and also some have a fantastic view of the Lamayuru Monastery. The room I had the first trip had wraparound windows overlooking the monastery, and on the second trip i had a smaller room, but it also faced the monastery and I could step out of the window onto the the flat roof of one of the buildings surrounding the main temple. One of the monks had his room on a part of that roof, and I would see him out in the morning/evening looking at the temple and the beautiful view.nnBathrooms are community style, down the hall from the rooms. Food is a basic Indian buffet, additional items available a la carte. There is a small gift shop outside the hotel which has books, prayer flags and an eclectic selection of items.nnAll in all a very nice spot to rest for a day or so while on the road. The Lamayuru temple itself is a joy to visit, you are able to attend the prayer ceremonies in the main temple, and visit other areas while the monks go about their daily routine. First of all I love this place very is very silent and calm. The hotel is very beautiful and surrounded with mountain. The view of the hotel is breathtaking ☺ we got a beautiful room and the view from my room was amazing. One of my best place on my bike Tour to leh ladhak. Toilet are commen but neat and clean. On the ground floor you will get restaurant with wonderful menu. You will get marchandice shop in restaurant. Wonderful experience. Lovely this place very much. Lamayuru is best place in this region.

We just had food at the restaurant of this hotel. And the food was quite sumptuous & simple except for the porridge which was not what we usually know about porridge. The rooms have a great view to offer as it is right beside the Lamayuru Monastery.

This was the best place I have visited during our Ladakh road trip. One of the cleanest place We have been to in the entire trip . Rooms were very nice and cozy.nThe room that we got had a breathtaking view.nIf you come here ask for the valley facing rooms. The bathrooms and toilets are common but they are really clean . We got the rooms for very cheap price as we really bargained with them.nThere is also a merchandise shop inside the restaurant area where we got relatively cheap price for the stuff than other places.nThe food was equally good. One of the very few places nearby where you can get french toasts and pancakes for breakfast. The dinner was also very nice . The staff was very friendly . They helped us understand the roads and climate ahead. Also this place shares the same premises of the monastery. Luckily the day we visited there was a local festival so we had a chance of interacting with locals.nI will definitely visit this place again may be more than once just for the view and french toast.nAnd I will also recommend this place to my friends.nCheers.
