Mohan’s Mud Houses are approximately 10 km from Almora in Uttarakhand. Mud houses are situated in a serene place. I loved the place very much as I wanted to spend a holiday in a quiet place and it is. Mr Mohan is a very nice person. I liked the hospitality and the arrangements done by him. We were among the few first visitors who visited the property after hotels and resorts got permission to open after lockdown. Restaurant was closed and he served us from his home kitchen. Food was awesome. Though there is a kitchen in the mud house too. One can cook their own food also. Room was neat and clean. There is a big open space in front of the room to sit. We enjoyed sitting there and admire the Great Himalayas The view was awesome. There was not AC in the Mud House as the walls are of mud. The room was cool. There were basic utensils in the kitchen. Induction cook top was available for cooking. We prepared two meals also. I liked the muddy walls, lighting was nice. Refrigerator is required in the room to keep the drinks.nWe loved the home style chicken curry a lot. We ordered the same for next day dinner again. Thanks Mohan ji for your hospitality. Thanks Puran and Deepak for serving us. Both are nice guys.nWe would be visiting the property soon ud83dude0a AGAIN as we liked it very much.
