It was awesome experience to stay in Manaar. Rooms are more than enough, you can get the view of Tehri Dam/Lake from the room balcony.nnA small balcony was also there outside the rooms where you can sit and chill. You don't need to worry about anything, everything is in place like sofa, table and chairs in the balcony, inside the room ofcourse.

Manaar, one of the worst hotel in tehri near tehri dam Uttrakhand. When we visited tehri we stayed in this hotel. But the important thing is the owner of the hotel is a muslim person. I never hated the any person of India. But this person was strange. He told me that we can't serve food to any hindu person because it is against of our religion. I never understand this thing. His servant named Sonu, is a hindu but he is living as a muslim. Guys this man had pressurised him to do like this. Now you all told me that what I have to do. Kya me bhi esi hi harkaten karun. I am waiting for your comments

We were a little wary as this approached given some of the recent reviews but we really had a great stay. Yes you do check in down which is more like an Inn or B&B. But our room was big, beautifully furnished, and pretty darn quiet. It's not a full service resort like the one across the street with a beach, etc, but it was a nice room that was perfect for our wine tasting trip where we were out all day. I don't know what it would be like if there was a band downstairs (and we were there Sun-Tues) but it was very quiet during our stay.nnDefinitely will visit again

The owner took us through so we could see the rooms and we chose one with a small balcony.nnIt is quiet, clean and comfy. The owners are very nice and helpful.nWe will stay here again when we come back as we are within walking distance of the lake. It was very enjoyable!
