My experience of this place is very great. As i travel much and i really love this place.nIt's in the middle of the forest. The morning views are just amazing here.nYou can get separate cottages here also.nBut the camps are the best and the prices are also reasonable.

A great location situated amidst the mother nature.2.5 hrs drive from Dehradun and 1 hour from chakrata...Food is awesome and service is prompt

I Give 2 stars only for good Food.ni visited end of January, we were the only visitors (Group of 7 Peoples) at Himalayan lodges. We booked 3 tents, which was good but there was no Towel, no Hot water and No electricity. We asked for bonfire which is so common in tents, but they demand 1500 rs for 2 hrs of bonfire. Otherwise chakrata is good place for visit, good location and keep traveling.

I was planning to visit Chakrata for snow view in Jan 2020. But as Chakrata was full of crowd and heavy snowfall .police stopped us at Kalsi . Someone suggested us to go viratkhai for snow view instead of Chakrata as olive not allowed us for chakrata . We did not know this place never listened about it. But as we have no other option we moved.......and I think that trip was memorable.... The view from top of mountain to kalsi dakpathar Vikas Nagar was awesome...and after that snow view of viratkhai hills was amazing... Place was not much crowdy .....and we feel lucky to visit here... although road from Kalsi is single lane and so many bands ....but overall we enjoy this tour
