It's one of the best place I've visited. It was a family trip and worth visiting. The caretaker was warm, welcoming, and one of the friendliest host we've met. My parents totally loved their stay. The food was super delicious and the weather was simply amazing.nThe view from the cottages is mesmerizing..nWe had two rooms, they were well spacious, neat and clean.nWe really liked their idea of using solar lights.

Really enjoyed our stay here in TGV, Kanatal. Staying like this is an experience.nThe view and the location is so wow, its a different kind of stay in itself.nFood is so different and wonderful and the team at TGV is lovely caring.nWe (adult and kids) enjoyed every bit of it.nA short Trek was also so nice and with kids making most at every step.

Beautiful relaxing place, its too chilly in winter. No phone network no light in property. One who need to relax without any lights and phone this is the place. Beautiful views are available from this property.nnFood can be a challenge as they serve only local good so depends on people taste buds

It's lovely for its location but have alot of scope for improvement in terms of numbers of staff, in house arrangements and menu.nIts glass house is actually the highlight of this place

TGV Hideout, Kanatal is a great getaway for a couple of days. 3 hours from Dehradun, easily accessible by road upto the main road from which a walk, suitable for people with an average amount of fitness. 30ish minute walk, very safe.nnThe room was clean and I was genuinely impressed by the washroom, although there was no running water when I visited in January, because of the cold.nnThe food was beyond brilliant. Locally produce which included salads and roasted Soya dals and Mandua aloo paranthas and Lal Bhat, best enjoyed nestled in the lap of the mountain, with amazing views of all the ranges around.nnThe villages are warm and welcoming, happy to host you and leave you with smiles on your face. Supporting the locals is a great feeling as well!nSo good you wish you could keep some in your pocket before you leave.
