It's one of the best colleges for Arts stream. The Professors are very helpful and cooperative. A very good quality of education is imparted here. Departments like History, Political Science, Sociology, Education, etc. are one of the best departments of the college. This college is also famous for its Sociology department where best faculties of Sociology from Assam are here.nThe college is a small one, but a lot of extra curricular activities are held here. It also has a well equipped gymnasium. The indoor games like carrom and table tennis are available here. It has also got a good badminton court. Overall the college is very good. And from the side of education is is the best college for Arts stream in Jorhat.
