The stay at Sneha Bhawan exceeded my expectations. The host, Debashish is an extremely cheerful chap who is very knowledgable about kaziranga and is always ready to assist his guests to ensure that their stay is flawless. He helped arrange fantastic safaris with no hiked up fares in all the ranges of Kaziranga and put me in touch with the sensational and enthusiastic guide, Liton Ghosh, who knows all there is to about the forests and the birds and animals that inhabit them. Remember, your wildlife experience is only as good as your guide and both Liton and Debashish come highly recommended. The homestay itself is spacious, aptly found just a couple minutes away from the central range entrance, the staff very friendly who will go out of the way to make you comfortable. And all this at a very affordable price! Also I just wanted to remind people visiting the kaziranga not to endorse the criminal activity called elephant safari. The elephants, like rest of the animals, are best seen in the wild and it is sheer torture to keep these magnificent creatures in captivity. Despite what anyone would say to you, the rhinos can be seen up close enough and just as good on a jeep safari too, and you can see a lot more on the jeep safari that you wouldnt be able to on the elephant anyway. All you need is a good guide which debashish will definitely arrange for you do not endorse this form of animal torture.

Very nice behaviour and hospitality

We stayed at Sneha Bhavan for 3 nights in November 2019 and had an amazing time !! The rooms are good and clean with sufficient space. The entire team has a done a great job in ensuring we had a comfortable stay and immediately attending to our needs. Debasish is very friendly and helped us out with planning our sightseeing and arranging elephant/jeep safaris. Our long evenings were filled with fun & endless chatter with Pritesh while our tummies were filled with home cooked food by Mithu. Each day our room would display a different towel artwork by the talented Sameer.nnIn summary, the entire team takes care of you like family and Sneha Bhavan is truly a home away from home. I definitely recommend this place !!nnA huge thank you to Debasish and team for such wonderful memories to take back home ♥ufe0f
